Habitat Evaluation Procedures (HEP) is used to quantify the impacts of development, protection, and restoration on terrestrial and aquatic habitats by assessing changes, both negative and positive, in habitat quality and quantity.
The archives of the Regional Habitat Team and other documents related to HEP as used in the Columbia Basin are now available in a searchable database under the “Data” tab on StreamNet, where they will be permanently archived for public use.
